Return & Exchange Policy

Little Birdies Boutique® is a small, independent shop, and our policy reflects that. Please read it carefully before purchasing. By completing a purchase in store or online, you agree to the terms below.

Online Purchases

  • Items purchased online may be returned for store credit or exchange only within 14 days of the delivery date. Returns must be received by us within that window; postmark dates do not count. We do not issue refunds to the original form of payment.
  • Items must be in original condition as described above, with all tags attached and original packaging intact.
  • Return authorization is required. Email hello@shoplittlebirdies.co m with your order number before sending anything back. Packages returned without authorization will be refused.
  • Returns must be sent prepaid via a traceable carrier (USPS, UPS, or FedEx). We cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries. Little Birdies Boutique® is not responsible for return packages that are lost, damaged, or not received, regardless of whether a tracking number was provided. We recommend insuring your package.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Store credit is issued for the merchandise amount paid, less any discounts, within 5 business days of receipt and inspection.

In-Store Purchases

  • Items purchased in store may be returned for store credit or exchange only within 10 days of the purchase date. We do not issue refunds.
  • Items must be in original condition: unworn, unwashed, unaltered, free of odor and stains, with all tags attached and original packaging intact.
  • An original receipt is required. No receipt, no return.
  • Store credit is issued as a gift card, may be used in store or online, and is valid for one year from the issue date. It is not redeemable for cash.

Final Sale: No Returns or Exchanges

  • All sale, clearance, and promotional-code purchases
  • Custom, monogrammed, engraved, personalized, and made-to-order items, including furniture
  • Swimwear, sleepwear, undergarments, socks, tights, and hair accessories
  • Pacifiers, teethers, feeding items, and bath products
  • Gift cards and store credit
  • Any item marked "final sale" on the tag, product page, or at checkout

Please review the product page for item-specific details before purchasing.

Gifts

  • Gift items are eligible for exchange only, within the applicable window, with a gift receipt. Without a gift receipt, we are unable to process an exchange.
  • Gift registry purchases follow the same policy.

Exchanges

  • Exchanges are subject to availability. If the item you want is unavailable, store credit will be issued.
  • Unsure about sizing? Contact us before you order. We are glad to help.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

  • If an item arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, contact hello@shoplittlebirdies.co m within 3 days of delivery with photos. We will make it right. Claims outside this window cannot be honored.

Our Right to Refuse

  • Any item that shows signs of wear, washing, alteration, odor (including perfume, smoke, or detergent), pet hair, stains, or missing tags will be refused. Refused online returns will be shipped back at the customer's expense or held for pickup for 14 days before being donated.
  • Please do not ship shoes back in their branded box; use the shipping box we sent your original order in. Shoes shipped back in their branded box will not be returned.
  • We reserve the right to decline any return that does not meet these terms and to limit or refuse returns from customers with a pattern of excessive returns.
  • Little Birdies Boutique® may update this policy at any time. The policy in effect on your purchase date applies.

Shipping

Once a package is transferred to the carrier, it is the carrier's responsibility. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or misdelivered packages. If tracking shows your package as delivered and you have not received it, please contact the carrier directly. We are not responsible for packages shipped to an incorrect address provided at checkout.
